- 13 green-and-white monkey grass
- 12 dark green monkey grass
- unknown quantity of cream-blooming tulips
- unknown quantity of purple-blooming irises
That should, hopefully, satiate your curiosity until I get the pictures developed. Everything still looks so raw and new to me that I don't know quite what to think of it yet. I've planted things far enough apart that they will look right when they're fully-grown plants, but right now there's so much….space…between all of the plants now.
They'll look better with some mulch and some time. Now, just to figure out what in the world I'm going to grow where I've got those irises temporarily housed.
Jeff asked me to spritz our lawn's thistle collection with some weed killer this morning. In the next couple of days he's going to dig the offending (and hopefully dead) critters out, making for a friendlier yard.
It's scheduled to rain tomorrow, so I think that I'll go visit one of the nurseries tomorrow in my quest to finish out the herb section of the front beds.
