desesperación

So, I sit here yet again, trying to convince my hands that even if I don't know what to write, if I sit here long enough, my fingers will tap out something that resembles an entry. Too much of my time lately has been taken up with inconsequential mundane things: salsa-making, minor carpentry, more episodes of Sex and the City and The Prisoner.

In other words, it's all so desperately boring to outsiders that even I can't find anything to write about. Barring earth-shaking changes in the next 48 hours, I doubt that things will change.

Perhaps the mean, evil, sarcastic, or whimsical amongst you should suggest some topics? Surprise me. You never know what will catch my eye.

Hrmmmmm....you know...you never did finish the 7 words game. We are still waiting. I think three people died from trying to hold their breath for the next entry. Such sad deaths...needless.

Topics you'd know something about: -- starting college at earlier than the traditional age -- the joys of code-fu Failing that, tell a funny story from college. Those are always good. Something about being close to graduation would be appropriate, or maybe the reason you transferred from Hendrix to UCA. ;)

Oh boy, I almost commented to tell you you spelled "desperation" wrong. It's one of *those* days. I'm all for the code-fu type stuff. Maybe just because I'm pining for a geek book I saw last night.

Some witty, warm, comforting and reassuring psychological insights into code-fu'ing. Please. ;)

I hope I didn't kill the 7 words thread with my awful suggestions... :-) And, I have been wondering about your gardening, its what initially brought me here.

Well, I have possibly interesting things to write about ... but finding the time or havig the desire to write is a big issue.

I second your comment, Brian. When the day's over now, I'm more interested in letting my mind veg and wind down for a few minutes than doing something else requiring thought.

Now you know why canspice.org is stagnant.
