18000 white blood cells and nothin's on

domesticat's picture

According to my doctor, I have pneumonia, a white blood cell count of 18,000, and about 50% of my normal lung capacity.I have a wheelbarrow full of drugs and a follow-up appointment tomorrow morning. If I’m not better, it’s potentially hospital time for me.

Back … soon, I hope.

Sweet skippy. You'd better get better or else. :)

No kidding. You should see the stack of drugs on my desk right now. They gave me a breathing treatment and an antibiotic shot at the office. In addition to that, they sent me home with an inhaler, an expectorant, and a couple of painkillers. I really don't want to go to the hospital.

Oh my god. Get better soon! And let us know; I for one will worry in the meantime.

Ah, but we're still alive. See next entry. Now with drug names!
