I’m in California with friends, vacationing for a week. Here’s what I’ve been up to:

• 6:44 AM PT: Hello Dallas. Someone poke a sandwich in my mouth and duct tape that woman’s mouth shut. Trying to nap here!
• 7:13 AM PT: @WhatTheCast dammit we have to wait to burn the town down until you are there? POUTY FACE.
• 8:02 AM PT: Hello from row 25. It’s time to go to San Francisco! (boingy boingy sproing!)
• 8:03 AM PT: @TheBookMamma send DM to @jhugart. He can help.

• 2:40 PM PT: Our vacation house is swank. I am SO stoked!
• 3:21 PM PT: @gfmorris We’re sitting out on the street, having hot dogs and enjoying an ocean breeze. Hate us a little.
• 3:47 PM PT: We are one block from a grocery store that carries Schaefern Berger and Ben & Jerry’s. I hate my life.
• 3:54 PM PT: Also, I do know how to spell Scharffen Berger. I blame the croissants. #firstworldproblems

• 8:53 PM PT: Michelin-starred sushi a two-block walk from here? This is rapidly getting ridiculous.
• 11:16 PM PT: You heard it here first: tonight’s Thai food was sub-par. I can get better in Huntsville.
• 11:19 PM PT: Also, universe: 4 of the people I love most are heading to SF today. Plz advise travel gods not to bone them, or I’ll be seriously annoyed.
• 11:46 PM PT: @crazybutable I was disappointed by the Thai restaurant, but it means I’m keeping some objectivity, which is good.
