Conversation between Brad and me...
A snippet of conversation with Brad to pass along:
Amy: It's the extraordinary that we talk about. Nobody cares about the normal stuff.
Brad: If nobody cares about the normal stuff, then why the fascination with webcams? :)
Amy: You're asking the wrong person, here. My theory is that we are not only nosy critters, but lonely ones. We like to be able to peek into someone's life—and have them not know if we are looking—but also know that they don't care if we look. We spend so much time trying studiously to look away from others in the crowd, to not look into open windows, to pretend that we don't see anyone around us—that when someone offers us the opportunity to look freely, it's hard to resist.
Amy: I have this eerie feeling that I just explained domesticat.
Maybe sometimes I figure things out without quite realizing it.
