Sorry to bust in yet again on the gleeful fun that is Ask Domesticat, but I have a small little feature change to Quarto (and, therefore, the entire site) that I think some of you might want to take a look at.

Yep, registered users can now set all posts and comments on 'cat.net to the timezone of their choice. Just because I'm in Central time (GMT-6) doesn't mean you have to be. However, you won't see any changes if you don't set up a time zone; Central time will be the default choice for the lazy amongst you. In other words, status quo.

That really loud sound you just heard was Brad cheering out in Hawaii….

Currently, I'm having far more timezone fun than should be legally allowed - there's something about reading your own site in Newfoundland time that both amuses me and marks me as a person who has absolutely no life whatsoever.

For those of you who don't have Quarto accounts, but want to set one up, go here or click the "register" link under "Essentials." For those of you who do have accounts and want to update your information, the current sign-in page for Quarto can be found at domesticat.net/test/html/.

One note - notification emails will still be marked as Central time. Those can't be changed on a user-by-user basis. I figure the rest of this code change should make up for that small glitch.
