Life arcs, social gravity

I'm leaving this friends-locked on domesticat because anything else will cause it to syndicate openly, especially to Facebook, where a lot of people who knew me in high school have found me.  This is both good and bad.  It has served to answer the question "What have you done since high school?" with "Oh.  THAT's what you've done since high school."

It's provided unexpected closure. I can look back now and recognize that changing my actions would have done little, if anything, to change the outcome.

uptempo music + headphones = progress (we hope)

Dearest nerdiverse, through problems not of my own making* I am wearing headphones for about eight hours straight every day, and will likely be doing so every workday for the rest of this month.  As a result, I have a serious, dire, and immediate need to rock out.

See http://www.last.fm/user/domesticat for everything I've listened to since 2004, or better yet see this subpage for what I've listened to in the past year.

Sunday: with Drupalcon having ended, we check out of the hotel, struggle to find food, and stagger home.
